This program creates a relationship with community food banks and libraries, provides them with essential resources to assist and educate their patrons about oral health, and oral hygiene brush kits to anyone who needs them.
This free dental clinic in Tulsa provides general dental care to low-income, uninsured people of all ages. With the help of more than 45 volunteer dentists, 90 volunteer hygienists, 20 dental students and numerous other volunteers logging over 3,000 hours per year, the Catholic Charities’ Dental Clinic is able to help thousands in desperate need of care each year.
The Compassion Outreach Center in Ada recently opened its new free dental clinic to deliver care to low-income, uninsured individuals.
Crossings Community Clinic provides medical, dental and vision healthcare provided by clinic staff, licensed professional volunteers and other dedicated volunteers through its locations in north Oklahoma City and Midtown. Good Shepherd Clinic merged with Crossings and is now known as Crossings Community Clinic Midtown.
D-DENT partners with dentists who volunteer to provide charitable care to seniors, developmentally disabled adults, and veterans.
Only 15 percent of American veterans are eligible for dental care through the Veterans Health Administration. Dental Lifeline Network’s Will You See One Veteran program partners volunteer dentists with eligible veterans in need of dental care and dentures they cannot afford.
EODDS works to facilitate the delivery of donated dental healthcare by local dentists to eastern Oklahoma’s elderly, disabled, and indigent populations.
Gateway is a Comprehensive Community Addiction Recovery Center and has multiple programs that include education, prevention activities, support, case management, and treatment (including dental care) for individuals who live with the challenges of behavioral health illnesses. Gateway serves residents of Pottawatomie, Lincoln, and Seminole Counties.
Heart and Hand Ministries was founded in 1996 by members of Olivet Baptist Church with a vision of helping homeless women with children in the inner city of Oklahoma City. Families are provided basic needs including free dental care, housing, job training, education, and transportation.
HealthCorps is a practical, integrated approach empowering young people to put their knowledge into practice and become catalysts for change. The Living Labs is a program where a HealthCorps Coordinator is placed inside a high-needs high school to teach wellness related classes, including oral wellness.
Hearts That Care provides preventative and reactionary primary medical and dental care to low-income, uninsured patients in Lawton.
HNC Living Foundation works with dental providers in Oklahoma, helping low income patients with head and neck cancer gain access to emergency and ongoing dental care to overcome dental issues that prevent them from accessing other lifesaving medical procedures, such as radiation treatment.
The mission of this Tulsa County organization is to “restore dignity and remove barriers to education and services for our vulnerable, unhoused community members and underserved students in Tulsa County by providing hygiene bags and winter survival backpacks.”
Ministries of Jesus Medical-Dental Clinic is an integrated medical and dental clinic where volunteer dental professionals provide treatment to patients in need of care they cannot afford.
Morton Comprehensive Health Services is one of Oklahoma’s largest community health centers and has locations in Tulsa and Nowata. For over 90 years, Morton has been providing comprehensive medical, dental and ancillary services to individuals regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, national origin or one’s ability to pay for services.
For 53 years, NSO’s Low-Cost Dental Clinic has worked to ensure everyone in the Oklahoma City community has access to oral health care they can afford. Additionally, the Oral Health Outreach Program has delivered education, screenings, and oral health kits to thousands of children, adults, and seniors.
OkMOM is a two-day free dental clinic event designed to meet the critical needs of patients by providing donated dental care to as many adults and children as time and volunteers will allow. The annual event is held in a different city each February. DDOK Foundation was the co-producer and underwriter of the event from 2010 to 2024.
The Pre-Professional Health & Law Support Services office provides resources for OSU students and recent alumni considering and planning for future careers in health care and law. DDOKF supports the community service efforts of the pre-dentistry students through this grant to the OSU Foundation.
The OUCOD Student Care Clinic offered reduced-cost, quality dental care with cutting-edge technology, where treatment is closely supervised by faculty dentists and specialists. Delta Dental of Oklahoma is also proud to support their scholarships, externships, research projects, and more.
Reach Higher is an adult degree completion initiative led by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. The Reach Higher Delta Dental of Oklahoma Scholarship is available to qualifying students enrolled in dental assisting, dental hygiene, or pre-dental programs at the various two-year colleges throughout the state.
This annual two-day event offers free dental, medical, and visual healthcare services on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is held in a different city each year.
ReMerge is a pre-trial diversion program that serves high-risk, high-need mothers facing non-violent, felony charges in Oklahoma County. ReMerge mothers schedule a dental screening within 30 days of entering the program to remove dental pain as a barrier to sobriety and are guided through the dental care process to make good health choices.
The Smile for Good Foundation strives to protect young athletes’ teeth through sponsored custom mouthguards and to educate the public about the importance of oral health.
The OU College of Dentistry Dental Hygiene Clinic at Southern Oklahoma Technology Center in Ardmore offers the public an opportunity to receive preventive dental care at a very low cost.
The Healthy Athletes program has been developed because Special Olympics athletes cannot participate successfully in their sport unless they are in good health. The Special Smiles initiative provides free screenings and mouthguards for all Special Olympics athletes to further this mission.
Sterling Angel of Smiles provides free critical dental services to low-income, uninsured residents at long-term care facilities.
The OU College of Dentistry Dental Hygiene Clinic at Tri County Tech offers the public an opportunity to receive preventive dental care at very low cost.
Variety Care is a non-profit community health center with 15 locations in central Oklahoma, with a mission to make quality health care affordable and accessible. The DDOKF grant specifically assists low-income pregnant women who need dental care.
This free clinic is open one Saturday per month in central Oklahoma City to provide cleanings and extractions to those in need.
HOPE Dental Clinic in Elk City provides free dental hygiene and dental care education to adults without dental insurance.
The OU College of Dentistry Dental Hygiene Program at Western Technology Center in Weatherford provides low-cost dental hygiene services to the general public and conducts the Seal-A-Smile program which delivers dental sealants and assessments to 2nd and 3rd grade students attending Weatherford Public Schools.
